About this campaign

There is an emergency on the Greek islands. With a lack of action from our governments, it really is up to us. We urgently need your help to respond.

The number of refugees arriving on the islands is at a level not seen since 2015. Camps are already painfully over capacity. After a terrifying sea crossing, there is often simply nowhere for new arrivals to go.

People are without enough food, shelter or blankets. Mothers are without nappies for their babies. People have come seeking sanctuary - but are now forced to sleep rough.

The islands are at crisis point. It’s been left to volunteer groups to fill huge gaps in desperately-needed aid and services. Working alongside our dedicated partners on the islands, we are currently:

- Supporting a rescue boat to help protect people crossing in flimsy, overcrowded dinghies.
- Providing tents, sleeping bags and nappies to new arrivals.
- Ensuring more especially vulnerable people - like lone children and pregnant women - get proper, nutritious meals.

These are not luxuries or nice-to-haves. These are the most basic essentials of life. If you can, please donate to help us continue providing these desperately-needed services. Thank you so much for your support.

I know its not much, but I hope it can help a tiny bit. I am so sorry for all the people living like this, I feel just aweful.
