About this campaign

Donate to the Jungle Fund to help us provide urgently-needed support to refugees in France and the UK.

In Calais, the ‘Jungle’ camp may have gone, but there are almost 2,000 vulnerable people living in Northern France. Help Refugees and their partners are still working flat-out to provide a emergency aid and services to those in need. And their work continues because of the support of people like you.

Living conditions are more precarious than ever. With Help Refugees brilliant partners L'Auberge des Migrants, Refugee Youth Service, Utopia 56, Refugee Info Bus, Refugee Community Kitchen and Good Chance Theatre, your donations will go towards providing food, clothes, tents, sleeping bags and much more to make sure refugees in Calais are safe, warm, and connected to their loved ones.

In the UK, you can donate to help us support the Meena Centre. Meena was established by mother and daughter Liz Clegg and Inca Sorrell. Having worked in the Calais ‘Jungle’ and founded the Women and Children’s Centre in the camp, Liz effectively became the guardian to hundreds of unaccompanied children living there. Liz and Inca now run a women and children’s centre for refugees in Birmingham, providing a safe space for vulnerable refugee children, support to pregnant women and new mothers, and much-needed training for local social workers on how to work with unaccompanied child refugees. They are bridging the gaps between different refugee organisations, and having a direct impact on the lives of some of the most vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

More than ever, we need your support. None of this work is possible without the generosity of people like you. Your generous donations will allow Help Refugees & their partners to continue to do this work, continuing to fill gaps left by governments and big NGOs in a flexible, reactive, human way.
