About this campaign

The Refugee Women’s Centre works tirelessly to support the women and families living in incredibly precarious conditions in Northern France.

We're a small team of volunteers, and our budget is a fraction of the size of a large charity's. We completely rely on the generosity of people like you, whether it's donating funds or items.

With your support, we can continue to provide:

- material distributions (clothes and hygiene products)
- information about, and access to, shelter (both state and private accommodation)
- activities for women and children (such as arts and crafts, sports, pampering and language classes)
- case work, including supporting women experiences or having experienced sexual and gender-based violence

Your donations will help us to accompany families on trips to the doctor, pay for nights in hotels, and buy warm clothing for the long winter nights.

We don't have a fancy office or a big fundraising team. The funds you donate will make an immediate and tangible difference to the lives of displaced people in Northern France.

If you can't afford to make a financial donation, but you'd still like to help, you can get information about donating goods such as sleeping bags, hygiene items and warm clothes here.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
