I'm Tash and I'm joining the wonderful and inspiring Thighs of Steel team once again to cycle REALLY far and raise money for Help Refugees.
This summer, I'll be joining a relay-cycle effort which pedals from London to Athens - I'll be cycling the leg from Perpignan to Lyon. This will involve 680km riding over 6 days with 12,500km of climbing. Ouch. And I'm definitely not a cycling pro!!
We're making this crazy commitment to raise as much money as possible for Help Refugees - an organisation which gives money to refugee projects all across Europe - it's an amazing and efficient organisation, giving money where the needs for refugees are the greatest. Since 2016 the Thighs of Steel cyclist team have raised over £239,000, enabling a refugee community centre in Athens to serve 240,000 meals, hold 6620 education classes, provide thousands of legal assessments and much more.
I'm proud to test my legs and mental strength for Help Refugees and for Thighs of Steel - but I can't do it without your help! Every penny of your money goes directly to Help Refugees and each penny will help me get a little further up each of those hills.
