About this campaign

Hi all you lovely people,

I am joining a team of steel thighed cyclists on a epic tour through the Dolomites! I've got to say that I'm a little nervous...but there is a very good reason that I am taking up the challenge. These days there is less and less coverage of the refugee situation, what with most peoples attention on Trump and Brexit, so when I spent some time in Calais last winter it really opened my eyes to a very real and bad situation.

So I have decided to don my short-shorts this summer and help raise some money for Help Refugees. They will donate all the money raised to different organisations across Europe that help vulnerable people with shelter and clothing, food, doctors, education, legal advice, women's spaces and much much more.

We will be cycling from Milan to Trieste (more than 800km) in 8 days. And its gonna be sweaty! All the money goes straight to the charity...not for me to get a fancy new bike! So dig deep please.
