About this campaign

On the 7th of July I will be setting off to complete the first part of a relay style cycle challenge from London to Athens, raising money for Help Refugees.

As many of you know, at the beginning of the year I volunteered for 5 weeks for We Are Here in the Nea Kavala refugee camp in Northern Greece. In such difficult and uncertain living conditions, We Are Here provides a place for children and adults to access education and recreation but more importantly to feel a sense of routine, security and validation.

Help Refugees supports over 80 incredible grass root projects, just like We Are Here. These organisations deliver essential services such as as running a life-saving rescue boat, creating safe spaces for women and getting some of the most vulnerable people out of camps and in to proper homes.

All donations would be incredibly welcome and will be going to an amazing cause. Much love, Claudia xx
