About this campaign

Hello! I'm Tash and for the 4th time I'm going to be joining the incredible Thighs of Steel team on an epic relay-cycle ride across Europe this summer, from London to Athens.

Why? Because the European refugee crisis may have fallen out of media favour but it hasn't gone away: there are still tens of thousands of people living in horrendously overcrowded and inhumane camps with dwindling support, thousands crossing the sea each year in search of safety and not enough support for all those who have already "made it" to Europe. So we're fundraising for the wonderful organisation Help Refugees, who will work with us to divide up the money raised to a number of incredible grassroots organisations working on the ground in the European refugee crisis.

This year I'm joining the 'Core Team' i.e the crazy bunch of people who will help to guide the cyclists through their journey this year - I'll be cycling London - Amsterdam - Stuttgart - Ljubliana - Bratislava and then another team will take over to guide the ride all the way to Athens

That's right - my 4 weeks will take me approximately 2835km, climbing 32,870m and crossing the alps, twice.
Actually I think i've changed my mind...

This really is an immense challenge and so I'm asking for your really generous support - we'll be adding to the already over £300,000 Thighs of Steel has raised over the last 4 years. Every pound that you donate will go towards supporting a fantastic grassroots refugee project.
