About this campaign

AT the beginning of August Tom will be joining Thighs of Steel on week 5 of their London to Athens cycle ride raising money for Help Refugees. Week 5 starts in Lyon and finishes in Milan. 700km of cycling over the Alps with 11000m of climbing. It's gonna be tough, hot and no showers!

Increasingly hostile policies and funding cuts across Europe are making it harder for people to access the support they need. Since the crisis has faded from the headlines, it has become more important than ever to offer refugees support through grassroots initiatives. Help Refugees do amazing work sending money direct to grassroots responses to the refugee crisis including funding rescue boats, setting up safe spaces for women and children and supporting people out of camps and into proper homes.
